I've always been on the chubbier side my whole life. Even when my BMI was within range, I always looked bulky. I've always loved sports, especially football and badminton, and I stayed active despite my size. I only started strength training last year. But over the past 8 years, my activity levels have dropped significantly. The first 3-4 years, especially during the COVID phase, hit hard. My weight increased more than I ever imagined, and my BMI reached the edge of obesity. I always wanted to get fit. The desire was there. But I could never stay consistent - either the plans were too complicated, or my motivation just didn't last. Three months ago, I started my journey with Sleety, my brother, who gave me the confidence, structure, and accountability I needed. Today, I'm down nearly 10 kg from where I started. The biggest change? Nothing extreme. No crazy diets. No unrealistic restrictions. Just smart, necessary adaptations. I became mindful of what I eat and how much I eat. I still enjoy occasional cheat meals, but I stay within limits. I train 6 days a week, combining strength training and sports. I lose around 1 kg on average every week. My sleep is structured. My energy levels are high. My mindset is stronger. Even during Ramadan, I feel active and energetic, and that's all because of the system and support from my man, Sleety. Initially, I was skinny with a stuck scale despite working in IT and having multiple food restrictions, which eventually led to disordered eating patterns. I also struggled with active acne vulgaris. I lost a significant amount of weight and am now gaining lean muscle mass. I’ve also been reflecting on the past 6 months and how far I’ve come. I’m now eating clean with occasional cheat meals while being mindful of what I eat.
